Must Have Done Something Good

In the middle of big sorrows and complexities in my life right now, the experience I keep having, and the word for that experience, is Grace. There are showers of grace flowing. The universe is made of such elegant grace. When the channels open up to sense it more fully, the world feels made of magic.

I was reminded of the wonderful song from The Sound of Music tonight that says, “Nothing comes from nothing, nothing ever could, so somewhere in my youth or childhood, I must have done something good.” A profound truth is expressed in these lines. The channels of this magic and grace do open when we align ourselves to the best intentions of our hearts.

We were on the same wavelength last night, dear Friend, “The Sound of Music” transcending us to the wonderful world of grace and freedom of the soul.

It is such a magical movie. My daughter watched it maybe hundreds of times growing up. Then she ended up living in Austria for a year. I’m sure smiles live in her heart perpetually because of growing up on that movie.
