Ancient Goddess of wisdom and war, born from the head of Zeus after he swallowed her mother, this goddess is a powerful protector and inspirer for those on particular kinds of quests. She has showed up in my dreams recently in her guises to let me know she is watching, available, and helping. The wars I fight are inner wars with myself, and that is where she excels I believe; that is where the only real advances are made. I want to just speak her name today, honor her, because I feel her grace pouring through.

Love this! When I took one of those quizzes on Facebook about which Greek goddess are you, I came up Athena and was glad.

I just made a little altar to her – owl and feathers and my sacred things. Calling her powers to me. xo
